Friday Fitness Check In

It's {late} Friday which means it's time for my fitness update.

I went to the gym three days this week for cardio with two of those being early mornings. I love, love, love working out before work because it sets me up for a great day.

I used Tone It Up this week for arms and legs, and I felt it in a good way.  I plan to follow the entire schedule next week.

I'm still doing well with my mostly vegan diet.  I took my lunch to work every day this week, but I need to pack better snacks in the future.  I found myself getting hungry earlier than usual a couple of days.

I have seen tons of recipes online for Energy Bites, so I thought I would try them.  I made these, and they were very good.  So good that I ate six of them as soon as I rolled them.  Needless to say, I won't be making them again anytime soon.

I have a new accountability partner in my Sublime Reflection Fitness Challenge group.  I've managed to stay motivated these last few weeks, and I hope I'm able to help my partner do the same.

My weight was 176 on Day 15 of the Bikini Body Mommy Challenge.  I hope to see better results next time I step on the scale since I've increased my cardio and strength training.


I have been doing a poor job at tracking my meals and workouts, so my goal for next week is to track everything.


  1. I've been doing a "take down" challenge at my gym and have been very good about sticking to the meals and been getting exercise, too. I lost a little over three pounds the first week; the next weigh-in is tomorrow morning. Hoping for another couple pounds.
    Went to the gym 3 times; hiked one day; walked one day; took two days off.

  2. I hate stepping on the scale. I am doing Jillian Michael's Shred, I'm thirty days in now but still not up to level 3. Don't know if I'd be brave enough to take the bikini challenge though! LOL
