Movies I Never Tire of Watching

I love watching movies almost as much as I love reading.  Phil, Adrian and I have a standing once a month dinner and movie night, and, depending on what's showing, we may go to the movies one or two more times during the month.  Our personal DVD collection contains 300+ movies.  I usually pop one in to watch while folding laundry or cleaning my room, and some of them get a lot of use.

* The Twilight Saga
* All 8 Harry Potter movies
* 50 First Dates
* Million Dollar Baby
* My Best Friend's Wedding
* Notting Hill
* Purple Rain
* Steel Magnolias
* Maid in Manhattan
* The Wedding Planner
* The Phantom of the Opera (which is in the player now)

There are many more, but these get the most playing time.

  1. I was telling my daughter about this challenge post and she said "Mom, Why did you not say Harry Potter!" She watches those over and over again. I am always a sucker for romantic comedies. Great list. So many of those I watch over and over again.

    1. So do we, Laura. The books are always better than the movies.

  5. My husband LOVES the Harry Potter movies, but he's never read the books. We own all the movies, but I've never watched them because I want to read the books first, and so far, I haven't made time to do it.
